Strategy and Tips

Witching hour f3252ff6

  • You want to kill your own Hadronox with Naturalize on the same turn so it does not get Hex or Polymorph. Silence is not so bad since you still use Carnivorous Cube on it.
  • Spiritsinger Umbra is another combo method, whether it is used to trigger Hadronox, Cube or even Rotten Applebaum.
  • Witching Hour is the late game gas. Be aware it can be semi-countered if you had Hex or Polymorph used on your minions.
  • Master Oakheart can pull Hadronox. Have Naturalize ready when it does.
  • Branching Paths is flexible - as heal, buff or digging for the combo pieces.

Against Aggro

  • Dig for combo and ramp as soon as possible
  • Keep dropping minions on curve to keep opponents on the back foot
  • Against non-Shamans/Mages, it's usually safe to drop Hadronox without a Naturalize follow up

Against Midrange/Control

  • Dig for combo and ramp as soon as possible
  • Keep dropping minions on curve to keep opponents on the back foot
  • Against non-Shamans/Mages, it's usually safe to drop Hadronox without a Naturalize follow up

Key Card Choices

Master oakheart fbb47d24

  • Hadronox: The key card the deck is built around
  • Naturalize: Remove big minions early game from Spiteful Summoners, cheap removal, and also used to activated Hadronox on the same turn
  • Carnivorous Cube: Late game gas. It's very hard to deal with the Cube when it spawns two more Hadronox or even Rotten Applebaum early game
  • Witching Hour: Hadronox is the only beast in your deck so this is very powerful. Be aware of opponents giving you more beasts via Hex or Polymorph
  • Spiritsinger Umbra: Synergizes nicely with a lot of cards in your deck. Can even be dropped early for an early minion against aggro
  • Master Oakheart: Another way to call out Hadronox consistently, if Hadronox happened to be near the bottom of your deck
